Tour Overview

Kerala is presented in the brochure as a land of spices, culture and wonders. This 7 Nights / 8 Days group tour begins from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai and travels to Kerala by Netravati Express.

The itinerary covers Munnar tea country, Thekkady spice plantations, Alleppey backwaters, Jatayu Earth Center and Trivandrum. It combines scenic drives, waterfalls, temples, wildlife, boating options and relaxed hotel stays.

The package includes sleeper train tickets both ways, accommodation on sharing basis, meals as per itinerary, private transfers, guide support, sightseeing entry tickets as applicable and Disney Yatra travel coordination.

1. Day 01 | Mumbai to Cochin Train Journey

   Report at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai as per scheduled train departure time. Begin the journey towards Ernakulam Junction, Cochin. Train details: 16345 Netravati Express from LTT Mumbai at 11:40 AM to Ernakulam Junction at 12:30 PM.

   Meals not included. Overnight train journey.

2. Day 02 | Ernakulam Junction to Munnar

   Arrive at Ernakulam Junction at 12:30 PM. Meet and greet, then proceed towards Munnar, approx. 130 km / 4 hours. Enjoy the scenic drive through lush valleys, tea plantations and waterfalls. En-route sightseeing includes Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls and spice plantation viewpoints. Check in at the Munnar hotel and enjoy the leisure evening.

   Lunch at restaurant/dhaba and dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.

3. Day 03 | Munnar Sightseeing

   Visit Tea Museum and Tea Factory. Visit Rose Garden. Visit Mattupetty Dam, boating at own cost. Visit Echo Point and Kundala Lake. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

   Breakfast at hotel, lunch at restaurant and dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.

4. Day 04 | Munnar to Thekkady

   Proceed to Thekkady, approx. 90 km / 3 hours. Enjoy spice plantation tour. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary; boat ride at own cost. Optional Kerala cultural shows such as Kathakali or Kalaripayattu at own cost.

   Breakfast at hotel, lunch at restaurant and dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

5. Day 05 | Thekkady to Alleppey

   Transfer to Alleppey, approx. 160 km / 4.5 hours. Check in at the hotel by 12:00 PM. Enjoy a Shikara Cruise through the beautiful Kerala backwaters. Experience sunset and local village life.

   Breakfast, lunch at local restaurant and dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Alleppey.

6. Day 06 | Alleppey to Jatayu Earth Center to Trivandrum

   After breakfast, drive to Trivandrum, approx. 150 km / 5 hours. En-route, visit Jatayu Earth Center, known for the world's largest bird sculpture; cable car charges extra. Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple for darshan. Arrive in Trivandrum and check in to the hotel.

   Breakfast, lunch at local restaurant and dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Trivandrum.

7. Day 07 | Trivandrum to Mumbai Train Journey

   Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Trivandrum Railway Station for the return journey to Mumbai. Train details: 16346 Netravati Express from Trivandrum Central at 09:15 to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17:05.

   Breakfast. Overnight train journey.

8. Day 08 | Arrival in Mumbai

   Arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17:05. Tour concludes with memories of Kerala, God's Own Country.

Terms & Conditions

• Booking is confirmed after Disney Yatra Tours and Travels receives the signed booking form and required deposit.
• Train tickets open 60 days before departure. Late bookings may result in RAC or waitlist status, and additional charges may apply for confirmed seats if required.
• A 50% deposit of the tour cost per person is required to hold the booking. Balance payment can be paid 7 days before departure unless advised otherwise.
• Cancellation charges apply as per the brochure: 25% once booking is done, 50% if cancelled 45 days prior to arrival, 75% if cancelled 15 days prior to arrival and 100% if cancelled 7 days prior to arrival.
• Hotel reservations require reconfirmation at least one week before check-in, failing which retention charges may apply as per hotel policy.
• Refunds, if any, are processed after supplier refunds are received and as per company policy.
• Standard hotel check-in and check-out times apply. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel policy and availability.
• Vehicle usage is limited to the itinerary. Extra vehicle use after transfers or sightseeing is chargeable unless mentioned in the itinerary.
• Disney Yatra may amend the itinerary when required due to circumstances beyond control, passenger safety or operational reasons.
• Prices may change if there is a sudden hike in fuel cost, scheduled airfare, government taxes or applicable surcharges.
