TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Booking
Your contract is with Disney Yatra Tours and Travels. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour of your choice and we have received your signed booking form and deposits. All the relevant sections must be correctly and fully completed. We can only accept a booking form signed as this confirms that you and other people on the tour accept our booking terms and conditions and are entering into the contract.
Deposit
Upon completion of the signed booking form, a deposit of 50% of the tour cost per person must be paid to the company.
Payments
For all the services contracted, a 50% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis, and the balance amount can be paid 7 days before your departure.
Management personnel hold the right to decide upon the advance payment amount based on the nature of the service and the time left for its commencement. In some cases, such as special train journeys or hotel bookings during peak seasons (e.g., X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required in advance.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing at least a month prior to the client’s arrival. Cancellation charges are as follows:
• Once booking is done: 25% of the total package cost.
• 45 days prior to arrival: 50% of the tour/service cost.
• 15 days prior to arrival: 75% of the tour/service cost.
• 07 days prior to arrival: 100% of the tour/service cost.
Hotel reservations require reconfirmation by the agent or customer at least one week prior to check-in. Failing this, hotels reserve the right to levy at least one-night retention, payable by the customer.
Refunds will only be made once received from hotels or other service providers. Refunds for unused services or shortened tours due to genuine reasons will be processed within 10 days of returning to the client’s home country.
Liability
The company does not own or control hotels, coaches, or other facilities mentioned in the tour. As an operator of the package, we cannot be held liable:
• Where there is no fault on the part of the company, supplier, or agents.
• Where failures in performance are attributable to the customer.
• Where failures are due to third parties not connected to the service and are unforeseeable or unavoidable.
• Where failures arise from unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control.
• Where failures result from events that even with due care could not have been foreseen.
Complaints
Passengers are advised to inform their tour manager of any complaints during the tour. If unresolved, the complaint must be notified in writing within 28 days of the tour’s conclusion. Disputes will be governed by jurisdiction in India.
Passports & Visas
To travel to India, a 6-month valid passport and visa are required (except for citizens of Nepal and Bhutan). Passport and visa processing are not included in the tour cost.
Early Check-in / Late Check-out
Standard hotel check-in/check-out time is 12:00 PM (IST). Early check-in or late check-out costs are not included in the tour cost and are subject to hotel policy, time of year, and availability.
Extra Use of Vehicles
Vehicle costs do not include extra usage beyond the itinerary unless specifically mentioned.
Rights to Amend the Itinerary
Tours will proceed as per the finalized itinerary. However, in case of events or circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to make changes for the safety and well-being of passengers.
Surcharge
The price of your travel arrangement is subject to surcharges in case of sudden hikes in fuel prices, scheduled airfare, or government taxes. We will absorb up to 2% of such costs, and amounts exceeding this will be surcharged.
Our Liability
Disney Yatra Tours and Travels accept liability for arrangements wholly within our control and for the negligence of our employees. However, we cannot accept liability for:
• Death, personal injury, sickness, accidents, loss, delay, or increased expenses caused by factors beyond our control.
• Acts, omissions, or defaults of independent contractors providing services.
• Events such as natural disasters, strikes, wars, riots, terrorist activities, extreme weather, or transport issues beyond our control.
